Samoans are a blessing

 Hey everyone!

It was a bit of through week to be honest. but we also had so many tender mercies!

the last email started with good news...so this time it will be sad news. Roger isn't getting baptized and isn't meeting with us anymore. Yes, my heart is broken for my good buddy Roger. He just didn't want to commit. He has however, stopped drinking coffee and is still reading the Book of Mormon. We tried to help with concerns but he said he made up his mind. I'm so sad for him. he really was making tremendous progress.

Wednesday was ZTM. lots of stuff happened but in the end we walked to the temple across the street and got to sit and read our patriarchal blessings. I learned so much and it was really nice to sit for a while and just think without having to worry about anything else.
On my way to the temple we walked in quietness. I looked down to see little blue flowers that reminded me of forget me not' s. (not sure if they were or not) but I studied President Uchtdorf's talk the next morning and I 10/10 recommend. That was a good day!

Yep. Thursday was hard. We got dropped by our most progressing friends. Roger and two others. :(
Our teaching pool is down to an all time low so on Saturday we spent a lot of time going through formers and calling to make appointments. We still got none. I'm learning patience for sure. haha
on Saturday we also got to go help a sweet older lady clean her trailer. I love her and i loved serving her so much!

Now for the subject line. serious, I love Samoans ha. they are so fun and feed us well. We stopped by two less active people this week on separate days. ugh, it made our days so much better. the first lady gave us money for food for two days and the other gave us a ton of kinda random food (including fish for sister fiu). sister fiu is really loving it also ;) we both decided we will be learning Samoan from them....sister fiu's dad teaches samoan at BYU-Hawaii but never learned. I can sing one of the songs sister fiu has in samoan so that's cool- pretty much fluent. Those people were the highlight of my week!!!

sorry for the boring email. I am alive and well. here are a ton of pictures!! next week I'll have pictures from Disney springs because we are finally going with the zone today!!
xoxo,
