Game Changer

Let me just say.. I get 18 months to share a message about Jesus Christ. how awesome?! This week was a great week and I love being a missionary every day that I am here.

Tuesday was Zone training meeting. I got to see some of my MTC buds. We had awesome training from Sister Clark and our AP's.

Wednesday- me and my companion met with our mission president. we got some really good council. We both got blessings. the spirit was so strong and there are specific things that he mentioned from my father's blessing and setting apart. He told me to remember those things and I just balled the entire time.
We then went from that to do exchanges. I got to go with Sister Shoemaker to Lake Nona. She leaves January 2nd.  We knocked 4 doors in the small amount of time we had and got 2 appointments! I seriously love this work. I felt on fire and was so excited because we haven't had that kind of success in my area (yet). That night we stopped to get peppermint hot chocolate from Starbucks (I have missed that place) I took a lot of ideas from her and am really excited to put them to use.

Thursday- We got to do service all day at an Autism fair. I got to do face painting....just have to say that I am not an artist but ya girl can paint a good Santa Clause and some pretty snowflakes
at that fair me and sister Wakefield started talking to a lady named Debbie. she looks like my grandma sherrie so I just loved that. anyway, long story short she has worked for members of the church and works with a company based in Provo. as she was telling us about her life, sister Wakefield pulled out the scriptures and we shared a scripture with her. The spirit was very strong and I hope Debbie felt it!! we continued to bear our testimonies to her and I was telling her how much I admire her and she started crying....the awesome thing is that she lives in my area! I asked for her number and we are going out to

lunch with her soon!

As for the people we are teaching...all appointments fell through so we had no lessons. it should be a week full of lessons this week if no one cancels. it can be a little upsetting to try to call, text and knock on everyone's door and not have any answer. but we are doing our best.

This week I had a video come to mind as I was pondering some things. it is about a currant bush that gets cut down because it was yielding no berries. I love when he says, "I am the gardener here, and I know what I want you to become". I hope everyone remembers that you are loved, even if sometimes it seems we are being cut down. it's for the best and God has a specific plan for you and so many blessings in store if you keep enduring to the end.
I will link it! I would love to hear your insights about the video(:

Love y'all!!! Keep lighting the world!
Love,
Sister Johnson
